Anyway, there has been much discussion on marriage and spinsterhood this past week. Me and ZX have concluded that we MAY (woah woah touchwood) be condemned to being single our whole lives cos we lack the courage to be in a relationship. And some force of nature is somehow trying to prove this fact cos everytime we play 'old maids', we are the ONLY two that will end up being the loser. Sad right, but let's not mull over it, it's just a pack of cards. (consoling self)
I read the Malay newspaper ytd, and was telling my mom about how expensive it is to get married nowadays (approx SGD$15,000 min) and how it would be better not to get married. Saves money. AND THE LOOK ON MY MOTHER'S FACE. OH LOLOLOLOL PRICELESS. $$$$$$
And then we watched this show called 'BrideZillas' where the brides were very cranky and demanding and I told her that marriage only brings stress to people, everyone shouldnt marry!
SHE SHOUTED AT ME SAYIN' "THEN WHO'S GONNA LOOK AFTER YOU WHEN YA OLD?!?" My older sis responded, "YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF MEEEE FOREVER HEHEHEEEE :)))" and I tried to humour her by saying "THERE'S ALWAYS THE HOME FOR THE AGED" with a straight face. She clearly was not amused.
Lol, chillax mom! If not, later more white hairs you know. I'll try my best to get married in the future alright.
